The BIG Move.

Today is the 14th, I only have a day 'til my estimated due date and I'm still very pregnant. We are all very excited for the big day but it seems that our little one is taking time for her big debut. My OB prescribed me to take evening primrose  to help ripen my cervix. I was advised to take it for a week and we'll see if I will progress. She also re-computed my EDD and told us that we have until the 27th to wait. So that's it. We don't have any choice but to WAIT. 

On the other side of things, Miguel and I are up for a new challenge. Aside from expecting our first born, we have also decided to add some more spice in our married life. HA! We decided to find our own place. Well, it was really part of our plan already but not until 2015. We decided to move because we believe that now is also the perfect time for us to experience how it is to live on our own. If we are not going to be ready now? Then, when? So we sucked in our guts and started looking for a place. 

Luckily, with our very advanced technology now, it was not difficult for us to find for a good place. I tried calling each ad that I found to be okay and of course, knowing me, aside from checking if the place was okay, I would consider it's aura and vibe. We wanted a place that would be in the middle of our offices and in our case that would be in Pasig. Some places that I've checked, if not too expensive, the unit would be too small for us. Of course, we now have to consider that we are expecting a baby. 

I called several unit owners and most of them were expecting to meet somebody who's already interested in the place, so we were kind of the second priority. I continued with my search and finally I was able to contact someone whose unit was very much available and we were the first one to inquire. It's a simple 30-sqm condo unit with two bedrooms and it has never been rented before. It was just turned over two weeks ago, so I guess it was really meant for us. 

We met with the owner the same day I called to inquire and upon checking the place and their terms, we did not think twice, we decided that that was it. The unit owners were very nice too and they are also expecting their babies to be born soon. Yep! babies, they're having twins! Two boys, to be exact. Our Janna will have an instant playmate. 

The big move is scheduled on September 5, 2013, hopefully, I have given birth by then. I'm really excited because I know that this is going to be a new phase in our lives. Having said that, I actually don't know how am I supposed to feel the excitement anymore because of course, I'm also excited to deliver and see our baby. HAHA, It's crazy, I know. 

Our current master plan is to rent for at least a year or two while waiting for our real home to be turned over. Hopefully, all things will go well and everything will fall into place. 

I just really admire how Miguel thought of this. Knowing my husband, he's the type who does not do any move unless he's able to think about carefully. He was able to show me that no matter what, he'll be able to take care and provide for our family. I must have been really blessed with such a good husband. :) 

So now, I am waiting for two awesome things, to see our Janna and to move to our new home and for that I am truly grateful.
